Muswelbrook Shire has access to all forms of media including print, radio, television and the Internet. Unlike many other areas in Australia, we do have local media outlets based here that cover the entire area, these are:
- Hunter Valley News - paper
- 2NM & Power FM - commercial radio stations
- Muswellbrook Chronicle - paper
- ABC Local Radio Upper Hunter Valley
Muswelbrook Shire receives three commercial television stations and the ABC from Newcastle, as well as Internet services with hubs within the shire.
Having these facilities within the shire allows a great opportunity for businesses and the community to communicate and keeps residents up to date with the latest in local, national and international news.
