Goal

The foundation supports organisations involved with K-12 science and higher education science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and non-profit access to technology.

Conditions

The fund will not support Capital Works, General Fundraising Appeals, Individuals or Religious Organisations.
No support for private primary or secondary schools.

Adobe Software Donation Program

Goal

To provide eligible schools and non-profit organisations with the tools that they need to provide digital technology and visual literacy to the community.

Conditions

Australian organisations with a non-discrimination policy and programs that meet the grant guidelines.

Adult Literacy Innovative Programs Grant

Goal

Provide funds to a number of strategic initiatives in the field of adult literacy.

Conditions

Applicants with expertise in adult literacy and demonstrated understanding of the issues involved, including familiarity with the relevant literature and capacity to manage and implement to project.

APEC Education Foundation

APEC Education Foundation

Goal

Provides funding to member countries in the areas of educational cooperation, research scholarships and community building.

Conditions

Applicants must be institutions or other non-profit organisations actively engaged in education or human resources development activities in an APEC member economy. A consortia among these entities is encouraged. Australia is an APEC member.

Financial Basics Foundation

To provide the foundations research, expertise and knowledge.

Max eGrants

Goal

To provide small grants to community groups, schools, kindergartens and long day care centres in Australia who apply on behalf of a disadvantaged child or young person to further their education prospects.

Conditions

Non-profit organisation or group with DGR status and evidence of income tax exemption.

New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)

Employment Services Network

Goal

Funding business development training and a financial allowance to assist unemployed people to start and run their new, viable small business.

Grant

NEIS can provide training in small business management, business skills and business plan development, and if approved:
• NEIS Allowance (if eligible) for up to 52 weeks
• NEIS Rental Assistance for up to 26 weeks (if eligible) and
• business advice and mentoring support during the first year of operation.
NEIS will help you develop a business plan as part of your training. The plan will need to be approved before you can start your business with NEIS assistance.

Parliament and Civics Education Rebate

Goal

To provide a subsidy to schools travelling more than 150 kilometres to visit the Australian Capital as part of civics and citizenship excursion

Conditions

Schools must visit Parliament House, Old Parliament House and Australian War Memorial and where possible participate in education programmes at these institutions. Rebates are calculated per student year 4 to 12 and vary according to distance travelled.

To provide funding for a wide range of charitable purposes.

Conditions

Applicants must be non-profit organisations from Australia.

WELL Program (Workplace English Language and Literacy)

Source

Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations

Goal

Assisting workers with English language, literacy and numeracy skills.

Grant

Various – Employers are expected to contribute at least 25 % of approved training project costs.

Conditions

WELL is not intended for use by workers from overseas employed under sponsorship arrangements. Employers are not eligible if they are already receiving government funding such as Disability Supported Employment Services or Work for the Dole.
