Black Spot Program

Goal

To reduce crashes on Australian roads and to target those road locations where crashes are occurring.

Conditions

Community Groups, motorist organisations, industry organisations, councils and individuals are invited to nominate Black Spot sites around Australia to be considered for treatment.

Community Hall Renewal Fund

Office of Rural Affairs/Department of Lands

Goal

To help small communities in country NSW to renovate, extend or upgrade their hall.

Grant

Funds of up to $50,000 per project. Funding is 1:2

Conditions

Grants are available to community groups with a population of less than 10,000 people, be incorporated and supported by their local government.

Community Economic Development Program

Source

Department of State and Regional Development (NSW)

Goal

This program is designed to improve the general business climate and benefit the broader community. The program is aimed at improvements in the general business climate and is not necessarily restricted to the retail sector. Funding is designed to benefit the broader community rather than being of specific benefit to a single enterprise.

Applicants should be local councils, incorporated associations including business and community groups.
