Local Environment Plan

The purpose of the Local Environment Plan (LEP) is to define what purpose land may be used for.
The LEP consists of:
- Maps graphically depicting the various zones of the shire
- Legal definitions of a wide range of land use activities
- Land use activity permissioned/prohibited for each zone
- The plan includes provisions addressing issues such as heritage conservation, subdivision, service provisions and land acquisition.

Visit the Department of Legislation website.
Alternatively a hard copy can be obtained from Council, the prices quoted below are to cover the cost of printing. However the copies provided will only be valid for the day on which they are issued and they are printed from the Department of Legislation website.
Please advise us well in advance to allow for printing time.
