Payment of fourth instalment due

Ratepayers in the Muswellbrook Shire are advised the fourth instalment for Rates and Charges issued for the 2011/2012 rating year, is due and payable by Thursday, 31 May 2012.
Rates payment options
Pay at Muswellbrook Administration Centre
Payments may be made at the Muswellbrook Administration Centre during normal business hours. Eftpos facilities available, credit card payments will attract an additional 0.75% merchant fee.
Pay at Denman library
Payments may be made at Denman Library. Eftpos facilities available, credit card payments will attract an additional 0.75% merchant fee.
Additional opening hours for payment at Denman library
In addition to normal opening hours, Denman Library will be open for payments from 10.00am to 4.30pm on Thursday 31 May 2012.
Pay ay Muswellbrook library
Payments may be made at Muswellbrook Library during normal business hours. Eftpos facilities available, credit card payments will attract an additional 0.75% merchant fee.
Pay at Westpac Bank
Payment may be made at any Westpac Bank within Australia.
Pay using Bpay
Use the Bpay payment option of your internet banking service. The relevant details are available on your rates notice.
Direct debit payment service
You can arrange for your instalments to be deducted quarterly by direct debit.
Ensure funds are available in your account two days prior to due date
For ratepayers who have already arranged to make payments by quarterly direct debit, please ensure that funds are available at least two (2) business days prior to the due date.
Missed payment deadline penalties
If payment is not received by Council on due date, interest at a rate of 9% per annum, calculated daily, will commence accruing immediately on the outstanding balance.
