Performance targets - level of service
All Councils are required under the Local Government Act to develop an annual Management Plan. The plan must contain a statement of the objectives and performance targets for each of its principal activities.
Water and Sewer program goals are to provide environmentally sustainable water and sewage services that are:
- Customer orientated
- Meet present and future needs
- Are consistent with concepts of total asset management in this service area
- Enhance Councils adopted strategy for Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM).
- Efficient and cost effective
- Follow best practice management
In an effort to best serve the community Council has set targets which are reviewed on a regular basis to assist in achieving these goals.
