Council is monitoring potential temporary road closure sites and road conditions

The information below is based on physical inspections undertaken by Council staff. Council attempts to be as accurate as possible in the information provided, but users of this page should be aware that, during rain periods such as the one we are currently experiencing, circumstances can change quickly. Motorists must proceed with great caution at all times, with full consideration of the prevailing weather conditions and condition of the road. 
Please always obey all road signs, temporary warning signs, and please be aware of flood depth markers at causeways and floodways.

All Muswellbrook Shire Roads Due to the June rains, all roads in the Muswellbrook Shire have experienced pothole and possible shoulder scour (grooving) damage. Please drive carefully to the prevalent weather conditions and physical condition of the road.
Road Repair Timetables Q. When will the road in my area be repaired?

Other Problems
Issue Status
Albano Road Motorists are advised that extreme caution should be taken on Albano Road, and that, depending on further information becoming available, access should only be considered by four wheel drive vehicles.
Dorset Road   there are a number of waterlogged sites along the road, and that we recommend only four wheel drive vehicles attempt access
