To register your dog or cat visit Council's Administration Centre during business hours. Your dog or cat must be registered by 6 months of age.

Annual Permits

From 1 July 2020 owners of dogs of a restricted breed or declared to be dangerous will be required to pay a $195 annual permit in addition to their one-off lifetime pet registration fee.

From 1 July 2020 owners of cats not desexed by four months of age will be required to pay an $80 annual permit in addition to their one-off lifetime pet registration fee.

Identification tag

Your dog is required by law, when in a public place, to have a collar around its neck with a tag attached that shows the dog’s name and the address or phone number of the dog’s owner.
