COVID-19 can cause serious health issues. Getting a vaccination is a safe and effective way of protecting yourself. Vaccines strengthen the immune system by training it to recognise and fight against specific viruses.

By getting vaccinated you are protecting yourself and your community. There is early evidence that COVID-19 vaccines also help to reduce the spread of the virus. For more information go to www.health.nsw.gov.au or speak to your GP.

For the duration of the stay-at-home orders, hospital visitors will be limited to help keep patients safe.

Visitors will now only be allowed by exception, for example:

  • for patients who are in a critical condition
  • for patients receiving palliative care
  • parents visiting children
  • partners supporting women giving birth
  • for compassionate reasons (speak directly with the in charge nursing staff)

No visitors under 12 years old are allowed.

Maximum 2 visitors per patient per day.

Please note there may be additional restrictions for patients receiving higher levels of care.
