Muswellbrook Marketplace Asset Renewal - Lift Replacement
Tender Details : The project involves the renewal of the existing passenger lift located within the Muswellbrook Marketplace facility. The existing lift is more than 20 years old and has reached the end of its operational life. In recent years, it has experienced frequent breakdowns, extended downtime, and increasing maintenance requirements, resulting in reduced reliability and higher operational costs. Technicians engaged to service the lift have advised that significant investment is required to restore long-term reliability and compliance.
Through this Request for Tender (RFT), Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors for either:
Option 1 – Modernisation of the existing lift system; or
Option 2 – Complete removal disposed and replacement with a new machine-room-less (MRL) lift.

Marketplace Fire Compliance Rectification Works
Tender Details : Muswellbrook Marketplace to maintain compliance with the existing fire engineering strategy, Fire Safety Schedule (FSS), and Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) obligations.
The proposed works generally include installation of new sprinkler pipework and window drencher sprinkler heads, passive fire penetration rectification works, renewal of the existing Fire Indicator Panel (FIP) due to end-of-life, and fire door passive rectification works (optional).
The project involves investigation, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, certification, and associated rectification works within an operational shopping center environment. Existing compliance audit report and fire engineering documentation have been included within the tender documents for reference.
