The Community Strategic Plan is the long-term vision for the future of Muswellbrook Shire. Shaped by local voices, it sets out the community’s priorities, aspirations and goals for the next 10 years, and guides Council’s planning and decision-making to help bring that vision to life.

As the highest level of strategic planning undertaken by Council, the Community Strategic Plan underpins and connects all other Council plans, strategies and policies—such as the Resourcing Strategy, Delivery Program and Operational Plan.

The Community Strategic Plan is reviewed every four years in line with the local government election cycle, so we can make sure it continues to reflect the evolving needs and ambitions of our community.
