Change of Financial Institution – Effective 1 July 2025

From 1 July 2025, Muswellbrook Shire Council will change its banking services provider.

What this means for you:

  • BPAY and Direct Debit arrangements will not change.
  • Over-the-counter payments at our bank will no longer be accepted.

Alternative payment options

  • Cash, cheque and EFTPOS payments can be made at:

  • Pay through your internet or phone banking using your savings, cheque, debit or credit account (Visa or Mastercard). Contact your bank for details.

  • Make secure payments using Visa or Mastercard via Council’s MyHub Service Portal.

  • Call 1300BPOINT (1300 276 468) to pay over the phone with Visa or Mastercard.

  • Send a cheque payable to Muswellbrook Shire Council (marked Not Negotiable) with your invoice to:

    PO Box 122, MUSWELLBROOK NSW 2333

  • Set up automatic deductions weekly, fortnightly or quarterly from your nominated bank account. Contact Council for assistance.

  • Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payments. Visit servicesaustralia.gov.au/centrepay to get started.
