Change of Financial Institution – Effective 1 July 2025
From 1 July 2025, Muswellbrook Shire Council will change its banking services provider.
What this means for you:
- BPAY and Direct Debit arrangements will not change.
- Over-the-counter payments at our bank will no longer be accepted.
Alternative payment options
TopCash, cheque and EFTPOS payments can be made at:
Pay through your internet or phone banking using your savings, cheque, debit or credit account (Visa or Mastercard). Contact your bank for details.
Make secure payments using Visa or Mastercard via Council’s MyHub Service Portal.
Call 1300BPOINT (1300 276 468) to pay over the phone with Visa or Mastercard.
Send a cheque payable to Muswellbrook Shire Council (marked Not Negotiable) with your invoice to:

Set up automatic deductions weekly, fortnightly or quarterly from your nominated bank account. Contact Council for assistance.
Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payments. Visit servicesaustralia.gov.au/centrepay to get started.
