Muswellbrook Shire Council operates two waste management facilities:
What to expect when you arrive
The Waste Operator will first ask you what you have in the vehicle. The Operator will then inspect the load and may ask you additional questions in order to direct you to the correct areas of site and to help ensure all patrons and staff stay safe.
All incoming loads are subject to inspection, and you are required to declare all items upon entry.
Site rules
- Obey speed limits, signs and all staff instructions.
- Wear enclosed footwear. It is also strongly advised that you wear suitable personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Keep children and pets inside your vehicle.
- Do not smoke or vape anywhere on site.
- Separate your waste into material types.
