Australia Day is a day to reflect, respect, and celebrate, providing a unique opportunity for our community to unite and showcase our diverse culture.
While Australia Day holds different meanings for everyone, it’s a day that welcomes everyone to reflect on their Australian experience—their past, present, and future.
The 2025 Australia Day celebrations commence from 8:30am at the Denman Memorial Hall with a FREE breakfast of bacon and egg rolls and coffee van, an Indigenous smoking ceremony, didgeridoo playing and an Indigenous dance performance by the Waagan Galga Dance Group.
From 9:30am the official ceremony commences – including Acknowledgement of Country, Muswellbrook Shire Concert Band, Australia Day Awards Presentation and Citizenship Ceremony.
We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate Australia Day, our Indigenous heritage, new citizens and the Australia Day Award winners!
