Uncork the wine, pop the champagne and test the taste buds because the region’s biggest event is back.

Expanded this year to include the Blue Heeler Film Festival, the reinvigorated Denman Wine, Food & Film Affair is a collaboration between Muswellbrook Shire Council and Denman Chamber of Commerce.

Ogilvie Street and surrounds will come alive on Saturday November 2 from 11am to 4pm, with attention-grabbing music artists, a diverse array of live street performances, a dedicated children’s zone, three performance stages and free continuous short film screenings from the festival in the Denman Memorial Hall.

Vendors will offer a wide variety of food and local produce along with plenty of wine and brewery selections, including the region’s own Two Rivers Wines, Hollydene Estate, Small Forest Wine and Horseshoe Vineyard. The traditional woodchopping competition returns and, for a unique accommodation experience, glamping tent accommodation is available at Denman Recreation Area.

A $150,000 grant from the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW, enabled the collaboration between Muswellbrook Shire Council and the Denman Chamber of Commerce to combine the two events into a not-to-be-missed weekend of festivities.

The weekend’s festivities will commence on Friday 1 November, with the opening night and Blue Heeler Film Festival Red Carpet Awards, to be followed by the Denman Wine Food & Film Affair on Saturday 2 November 2 from 11 am to 4 pm. Full event conditions of entry are available here.
