Stitching the Landscape Workshop with Patricia Casey
Saturday 8 March | 10am – 1pm
Join exhibiting artist Patricia Casey in a hands-on workshop exploring the connection between landscape, watercolour, and embroidery. Discover how embroidery, once seen as a traditional craft, is being reimagined as a form of contemporary art. Through the combination of watercolour, gouache, and hand stitching, you’ll learn to use the sewn mark to convey meaning and transform your imagery into a personalised art piece. Patricia will guide you through basic stitching techniques, composition, and design, encouraging you to tell your own story through creative mark-making.
