National Tree Day – Sunday 27 July 2025

Tarinpa, Aberdeen Street, Muswellbrook  |  11:00am to 1:00pm

Muswellbrook Shire Council invites the community to join us in celebrating National Tree Day — Australia’s largest community tree-planting and nature care event.

Held annually, National Tree Day is a chance for people of all ages to come together to care for the local environment, experience our natural areas, and contribute to a greener, healthier future. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply curious, this event offers a great opportunity to connect with others and give back to your local community.

This year, Council will host a relaxed morning of planting at Tarinpa, with a free native seedling giveaway available to attendees. Come along, dig in, and help make a difference to our shared spaces.

For more information or to RSVP, email sustainability@muswellbrook.nsw.gov.au, phone 6549 3700 or visit Sustainable Futures – Muswellbrook on Facebook.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago — the second-best time is now.
