Muswellbrook Shire Council has been awarded $75k in funding in the fourth and final round of the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play program. The program supports councils in building new or upgrading existing play spaces to improve inclusivity.

Council will use the grant to upgrade equipment and facilities at Market Street’s Simpson Park. The Everyone Can Play program is designed to provide access to quality, walkable, green and open spaces for people of all ages and abilities.

The three principles of the best practice resource are:

• Can I Play
• Can I Stay
