Rock royalty Dragon has joined an electrifying live music lineup for the 2025 Denman Wine, Food & Film Affair, which returns on Saturday 1 November.

Revellers at the hit festival can also look forward to Aussie country star Nathan Lamont, Tamworth singer-songwriter Dear Tommie, West Papuan recording artist Voice of Lele and local favourite Imogen Hall.

The massive bill will provide the soundtrack to an unforgettable day of the best of Muswellbrook Shire food, flavour and fun.

Attended by 11,000 last year, Denman Wine, Food & Film Affair is a partnership of Muswellbrook Shire Council and the Denman Chamber of Commerce and part of a full festival weekend for Denman, following the Blue Heeler Film Festival red carpet awards that will take place on October 31.

Muswellbrook Mayor Jeff Drayton said the lineup is just another reason why Denman Wine, Food & Film Affair has grown into one of the flagship events in regional NSW.

“This isn’t just a great day out for Denman, it’s an unmissable part of the calendar for the Upper Hunter, for local business and a celebration of everything that makes the region so good,” Mayor Drayton said.

“With a lineup like this we’re ready to welcome thousands of new visitors to Denman and remind locals why we all love living here.”

With gourmet vendors, boutique wine and beer producers, regional distilleries, family entertainment, glamping, yoga and more, the Denman Wine, Food & Film Affair serves up something for every taste.

Muswellbrook Shire Council Tourism and Events Coordinator Stephen Wright said the calibre and variety of musical acts this year highlight a festival that goes from strength to strength.

“Dragon need no introduction to their legion of fans, but I’d also say to anyone interested in coming to Denman Wine, Food & Film, you will leave as a new fan of an artist,” Mr Wright said.

“We have rock royalty, high-energy country, soul and local talent – it’s a lineup to cement Denman on the live events map.”

Denman Chamber of Commerce President Amanda Collins said the festival continues to grow as a source of local pride and value for the local economy.

“This is about showcasing what we already know – Denman punches above its weight in hospitality, creativity and community,” Ms Collins said.

“It’s not just a date on the calendar anymore. It’s the date.”

The full weekend, starting October 31 with the Blue Heeler Film Festival, will bring more than 50 vendors serving the best local food, wine and beer, short film screenings from the Blue Heeler Film Festival, a kids’ zone, yoga, glamping village, street performances and a Sunday recovery at Two Rivers Wines.
