Free entry and giveaways galore!

The Muswellbrook Aquatic Centre’s indoor pool opened with a splash last month, and the community was quick to jump in and enjoy the new facility. Now – it’s time for a grander event.

On Saturday September 17, the centre will be declared officially open by Mayor Steve Reynolds, State Member for Upper Hunter David Layzell and Federal Member for Hunter Dan Repacholi. Captain Splash will also be there for giveaways and plenty of fun – including a free ice block and bottle of water for the first 500 people.

Mayor Reynolds said the official opening is another opportunity to highlight everything the new facility has to offer.

“We didn’t want the community to wait another minute for the pool to open, but now it’s time to give it the celebration it deserves. There will be free entry and plenty of giveaways on the day – and don’t forget to take advantage of the current membership discounts and free entry during this September school holidays.”
