About the Project
Muswellbrook Shire Council was successful in obtaining funding through the 2023-2024 Get NSW Active Program for a project to construct a new share path in Turtle Street, Denman.
The Get NSW Active Program provides local councils with funding for projects that create safe, easy, and enjoyable walking and cycling trips. These trips help to relieve pressure on our roads and public transport networks and are part of a healthy lifestyle for NSW communities.
The project involves the construction of kerb and gutter, drainage and concrete footpath to connect Paxton Street to the Denman Creek Walking Track at the location in Turtle Street where is there is currently no path.
