Resourcing Strategy

Council’s Resourcing Strategy includes the Long Term Financial Plan, Strategic Asset Management Plan and Workforce Management Plan and is part of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.

The Resourcing Strategy is how Council plans to turn our shared vision into reality by making sure the right resources—time, money, people, and assets—are in place to deliver on the Community Strategic Plan.

It’s made up of three key parts: long-term financial planning, workforce management, and asset management. Together, these guide how Council allocates resources to carry out its responsibilities and deliver the strategies that matter most to our community.

While some goals in the Community Strategic Plan involve other levels of government, businesses, or community groups, the Resourcing Strategy focuses on what Council can control and how we’ll manage those resources wisely to get the job done.

Just like the Community Strategic Plan, the Resourcing Strategy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains aligned with our community’s needs and supports a strong, sustainable future for Muswellbrook Shire.
