The Sustainability Unit run a wide range of events and activities on a variety of sustainability related subjects. We also support Council and the wider community to make their practices more sustainable.

• Water efficiency.
• Sustainable waste management.
• Restoration of natural areas.
• Flying fox management and education.
• Magpie management and education.
• Advocacy and monitoring for improved air quality.
• Climate change and zero emissions education.
• Support for residents, community groups and businesses with sustainability initiatives.
• Environmental education and awareness raising.

Our role would be impossible without the support of residents, community groups, educational organisations and local business.
