There will be a blast at Mount Pleasant Operation on the 19th March between 9am-12pm. Blast timing will be dependent on environmental and operational factors.

Mangoola Coal
Mangoola Coal will be conducting a blast on Thursday the 19th of March 2026, between the hours of 10am-2pm, weather permitting. Please note this blast will require the closure of either Ridgelands Rd, Wybong Rd and/or Wybong PO Road for approximately 20 minutes, depending on wind conditions as assessed on the morning of the blast.

Wybong road will be closed for approximately 20 minutes during blasting activities.
All operations in the Muswellbrook Shire Local Government Area that are permitted to blast will typically have an Environmental Protection Licence.
