Mangoola Coal will also be conducting a blast on Wednesday the 1st of April 2026, between the hours of 10am to 2pm, most likely 12pm, weather permitting. Please note that this blast will require the closure of either Ridgelands Rd, Wybong Rd and/or Wybong PO Road for approximately 20 minutes, depending on wind conditions as assessed on the morning of the blast.

All operations in the Muswellbrook Shire Local Government Area that are permitted to blast will typically have an Environmental Protection Licence.
