Naming of Proposed Street Name

Council has received a Road Naming Application for the above development.

The Applicant is proposing the name “Distillery Place” which reflects the historical use of the site as a distillery.

The proposed road name is on public exhibition between 25 February to 25 March 2026. During this public exhibition period, the documentation accompanying this application may be viewed below.

Any person wishing to make a submission regarding the proposed street name should do so in writing by email council@muswellbrook.nsw.gov.au. Submissions are to be addressed to the General Manager, Muswellbrook Shire Council, and must be lodged prior to the close of business on 25 March 2026. Any submissions by way of an objection should be supported by the grounds for that objection.

All submissions, including personal information, will be made available for public inspection and may be included in full in any reports to Council, government agencies or other relevant bodies in the determination of the application.
