Muswellbrook Shire Council advises that planned connections to a new water main will be carried out in Scott Street. As a result, there will be an interruption to the water supply while these works take place.
Streets affected by no water:
- Scott Street
- Lower Hill Street
- Brook Street (Between Hunter Terrace & Scott Street)
Reduced water pressure may also affect:
- Hunter Terrace
- Lower William Street.
To minimise disruption, works will be undertaken during daytime hours only (9.00am –4.00pm). The proposed schedule is as follows:
- Monday 23 March 2026
- Tuesday 24 March 2026
- Wednesday 25 March 2026
- Thursday 26 March 2026
During these times, residents may experience a total loss of water supply or reduced water pressure. Interruptions will be limited to the hours listed above wherever possible.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience. These upgrade works will improve the reliability of the water supply and help minimise future disruptions. Updates, if required, will be provided via Council’s website and social media channels.
