About the Project
Council have engaged Contractors Deloma Pty Ltd to undertake the upgrading of Pocket Park on the corner of Goulburn Drive and the Golden Highway, Sandy Hollow.
The works will predominantly include landscaping of the park to improve the space for the community and visitors to the village including timber fencing and installation of garden beds, turf, seating, a water station and nature play items.

Project Update 12/11/2021
Excavation, demolition and the newly constructed footpath have been completed, and the horseshoe sandstone seating is starting to take shape. The works are scheduled to be completed in December.
Project Update 22/12/2021
Construction of the park has been delayed due to the recent rain events, so works will be continuing into the new year.
Installation of the post and rail fencing is continuing, and construction of concrete footpaths and sandstone log seating has been completed.
Project Update 25/02/2022
Pocket Park is almost complete and is open for public use!
Final landscaping touches have been finished, and a water fountain and soft fall around the climbing logs were installed in the park.
The final items to be completed are the installation of the horse head and galah statue, which are currently being programmed.
