With the help of Wilbur the Water Warrior, the Sustainability Unit encourages and supports community members to be water wise. Council is also working on increasing the amount of reuse water for areas such as Council sporting fields.

• Workshops and demonstrations of water wise gardening at the Sustainability Hub.
• Visits to educational facilities to participate in activities on being water wise.
• Puppet shows with Wilbur the Water Warrior.
• Rethink Your Water Use fact sheets.
• Water wise board game.
• Financial incentives for water wise products and initiatives (subject to change and conditions).

Water refill station available for community events.

If you are a community, sporting or school group planning an event, Council has portable water refill stations available to loan for free (deposit required). The stations provide cold, filtered water to users – eliminating the need for single use plastic bottles!
