Strategic Reporting

Keeping Council accountable and our community informed through Council’s Annual Report and State of the Shire Report.

Annual Report

The Annual Report is one of the most important ways Council shows our community how we’re tracking against our commitments in the Delivery Program and Operational Plan. It provides a clear, transparent look at our performance over the past year—what we delivered, what we improved, and what still needs work.

In this report, we answer the big questions:

  • Did Council achieve what we said we would?
  • How much progress did we make?
  • If something wasn’t completed, why not—and what are the next steps?
By outlining our successes, challenges, and future plans, the Annual Report helps our community understand not just what happened this year, but where we’re heading next.

State of the Shire Report

The State of the Shire Report (previously the End of Term Report) is presented to the newly elected Council early in its term. Covering the previous four years, it tracks how well Council has progressed against the long-term Community Strategic Plan. This report highlights achievements and areas for future focus, helping set the scene for the new Council as it reviews and updates the community’s vision.
