The Operational Plan is Council’s detailed action plan for the year ahead, outlining the specific projects, programs, and activities that will deliver on the priorities set in the Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program. Prepared annually, it establishes clear responsibilities, budgets, timelines, and performance measures for the upcoming financial year.
The Draft Operational Plan 2026-2027 has been developed to deliver the second year of the Delivery Program and reflects the community’s needs and aspirations identified in the Community Strategic Plan. It also includes Council’s budget, revenue policy, and proposed fees and charges for the 2026-2027 financial year.
At the Ordinary Meeting held in Muswellbrook on 28 April 2026, Council endorsed the Draft Operational Plan 2026-2027 for 28 days of public exhibition, from 30 April to 28 May 2026.
Community members are invited to review the draft documents and have your say before close of business on 28 May 2026. Your feedback helps ensure Council’s plans reflect what matters most to our community.
