Council wishes to advise of planned night works on Brook Street, Muswellbrook, between Bridge Street and the railway crossing, on 20th and 21st April 2026.

The works involve repairing an existing water main and carrying out necessary road restoration. The work will improve the reliability of the water supply and help minimise future disruptions.

There will be no interruption to the supply of water.

To allow these works to be carried out safely, Brook Street will be closed to all traffic on both nights from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Please note the following traffic changes during this time:

• No access from Bridge Street into Brook Street
• No access from Railway Crossing to Bridge Street
• A detour will be in place
• Campbells Corner Carpark will be closed for entry and exit via Brook Street
• Entry and exit to the carpark will remain available via William Street

Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience while these essential works are completed. Updates, if required, will be provided via Council’s website and social media channels.
