About the Project

Muswellbrook Shire Council will commence footpath renewal works along Maitland Street from the end of TAFE to the Thompson Street intersection (approximately 110m in length and minimum 2m width).

Weather permitting, works will commence 29 May 2023 and will be completed by 30 June 2023 through Council’s appointed Contractor.

During the period of construction, the location will be under traffic control management, and residents and pedestrians will experience disruption to normal traffic conditions.

Council thanks everyone impacted for their patience while we work to improve accessibility for pedestrians and active transport users at this location.
