Library Open Day – Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds
Celebrate Library and Information Week at Muswellbrook Library with a special Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds Library Open Day.
Libraries across NSW are coming together to showcase the services, spaces, collections and communities they continue to build. Join us for a fun morning featuring a special Storytime and Craft session based on the book of the day, Don’t Give A Baby A Library Card by Erin Sandberg and Tom Booth.
Visitors can also discover everything a library membership has to offer and celebrate the important role public libraries play in our community.
Date: Thursday 30 July 2026
Time: 10:00am – 11:00am
Location: Muswellbrook Library
Registered library members who have borrowed within the past two years can enter the draw to win a ‘We Live Here’ gift card, with the winner announced during the Open Day.
Bring a friend and discover what you can access for free with your library card.
The Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds Library Open Day is presented in partnership with the NSW Public Libraries Association and the State Library of NSW.
