Muswellbrook Shire Council would like to advise that planned connections to a new water main will be carried out in Scott Street and Lower Hill Street during the week starting Monday, 11 May 2026 as per below schedule. During this time residents may experience interruption to water supply while these works take place.
Work dates:
Monday, 11 May 2026 – Thursday, 14 May 2026
Water Supply Interruption:
Water supply will be interrupted between 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on:
- Primary dates – Monday, 11 May 2026, Tuesday 12 May 2026, Wednesday 13 May 2026
- Contingency date – Thursday, 14 May 2026 (only if required)
Affected streets include:
- Lower Hill Street
- Scott Street
Interruptions will be limited to the hours listed above wherever possible. These works will improve the reliability of the water supply and help minimise future disruptions.
Council appreciates your patience and cooperation while this important works is completed. We recommend residents prepare for the interruption with storage of water for essential use. . Residents affected by the outages can also request bottled water by calling Council on 6549 3700.
