Muswellbrook Shire Council advises that planned connection works to the new water main will be carried out in Scott Street and Lower Hill Street on Friday 5 June 2026 and during
the week commencing Tuesday, 9 June 2026.

As part of these works, residents may experience interruptions to their water supply.

Valve Isolation Trial
A valve isolation trial will be undertaken on Friday, 5 June 2026, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. This trial is required to confirm the water main isolation arrangements before the planned connection works commence.

Main Work Dates
Tuesday, 9 June 2026 – Thursday, 11 June 2026.

Water Supply Interruption
Water supply will be interrupted between 9:00am and 11:00am on Friday, 5 June 2026 and between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on the following dates:

Primary dates:
• Tuesday, 9 June 2026
• Wednesday, 10 June 2026

Contingency date:
• Thursday, 11 June 2026, only if required

Affected Streets
• Lower Hill Street
• Scott Street
• Ford Street

Interruptions will be limited to the hours listed above wherever possible. These works will improve the reliability of the water supply and help minimise future disruptions.

Council appreciates your patience and cooperation while these important works are completed. Residents are encouraged to store water for essential use during the
interruption period.
